European Council of Civil Engineers (ECCE), World Council of Civil Engineers (WCCE) and Turkish Chamber of Civil Engineers (TCCE) held a joint conference dedicated to the topic Seismic Protection of Cultural Legacy Monuments in Antalya, Republic of Turkey from 31 October, 2011 till 1 November, 2011.

Basic goals of the conference represented study of seismic condition of cultural legacy monuments and improvement of their protection methods.

Among participants of the conference were invited international experts who made basic reports related to cultural legacy monuments research and preservation.

President, Chairman of the Managing Board of Georgian Society of Civil Engineers Yuri Svanidze  and Honorary Member of the Society, Member of the Managing Board, PhD of Technical Sciences, Professor Nodar Edisherashvili were officially invited to participate in the conference.
